Her entrepreneurial journey began from a place many can relate to. As a single mother working to make ends meet, Carmicia learned firsthand the value of persistence, resilience, hard work, and having a strong support system. With the help of her village and an unwavering belief in what was possible, she transformed challenges into opportunities and has spent more than 16 years building businesses, brands, and a career rooted in service and entrepreneurship.

Carmicia brings a diverse range of professional experience to everything she does. Her background includes education, business, retail, leadership and management, instructional technology, web design, photography, and filmmaking. Rather than allowing these experiences to exist separately, she has combined her knowledge and skills to create resources designed to help others build their brands, grow their businesses, develop professionally, and work toward greater financial freedom.

An educator at heart and an entrepreneur by experience, Carmicia believes that success is not one-size-fits-all. Her mission is to help people recognize their potential, leverage what they already know, and take intentional steps toward the life and career they envision.

Carmicia earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and two Master of Science degrees from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She is a successful REALTOR®, business owner, wife, mother, friend, and proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
